Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy explains how PC-TECH ("PC-TECH", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit my-pc-tech.com (and liaitech.com, which forwards to it), call or text our business line, talk or chat with our AI assistant, book a meeting, use our free website audit, or become a client.

1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and booking details: your name, phone number, email address, business name, type of business, website address, town or address (for on-site visits), and anything you write in a message or booking note.
- Plan interest: the plan and add-ons you pick in our plan builder.
- Client information: if you become a client, the details in your agreement, your typed name and drawn signature, and the date, time, IP address and browser used to sign.
- Payments: payments are handled by a secure, PCI-compliant payment processor. Your card or bank details go directly to the processor; we do not see or store full card or bank account numbers.
Calls, chats and the AI assistant
- When you call 631-710-7674 or use the talk or chat assistant on our website, an AI assistant answers. Calls and chats are recorded and transcribed, and a short summary is created, so we can respond to you, book appointments and improve the service. We receive your phone number (caller ID) and anything you share during the conversation.
- The assistant tells you it is an AI if you ask. You can ask to speak with a person at any time.
Information collected automatically
- Visit statistics: we count page views, the pages visited, the website that referred you, your device type (phone or computer), and your approximate city, region and country (from your internet connection). We do not use cookies for this. Visitors are counted using a code made from your connection and browser that changes every day, so we cannot follow you from day to day. We do not store your IP address for statistics.
- Page speed and visit measurement: a cookie-free tool from our hosting provider.
- QR codes and business cards: when you scan one of our QR codes or tap a business card, we count the scan with the date, device type and approximate city.
- Security and error logs: our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and browser) to keep the site secure and working.
Free website audit
- When you scan a website with our audit tool, we check that website's public pages. If you book a call from your report, the website address, score and main findings are attached to your booking.
2. How we use information
- To answer your questions, call or email you back, and hold the meetings you book.
- To prepare quotes, agreements and the services you buy, and to bill you.
- To send booking confirmations, reminders, agreement copies and service messages.
- To keep a simple record of our conversations with you, so you don't have to repeat yourself.
- To understand how our website is used and improve it.
- To protect our website, our business and our customers, and to meet legal requirements.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
3. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, under their own privacy and security terms, and only as much as they need to do their job:
- Website hosting, security and analytics providers
- Email providers (for our business email and for sending confirmations and messages)
- A scheduling service (for booking meetings)
- A payment processor (for invoices and automatic payments)
- Phone, AI and transcription providers (for our phone line, AI receptionist, website assistant, call recording and transcription)
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
4. Text messages
If we text you, it is because you contacted us, booked with us, are a client, or agreed to receive texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
We do not share or sell your mobile phone number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the providers that deliver our messages.
5. How long we keep information
- Leads and messages: for as long as needed to follow up and serve you, then deleted or anonymized.
- Call and chat recordings and transcripts: for the period our voice AI provider keeps them, then deleted.
- Client agreements, signatures and billing records: for as long as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes (usually up to 7 years after the agreement ends).
- Visit statistics: kept in a form that does not identify you.
6. How we protect information
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), password-protected owner access, and limited access to personal information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information, as required by New York law.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access, correction and deletion: email support@my-pc-tech.com and we will tell you what we have about you, correct it, or delete it, unless we must keep it for legal reasons (for example, signed agreements and billing records).
- Calls and texts: reply STOP to any text, or tell us you don't want calls.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link or reply "no" to any marketing email.
- Browser settings: our statistics don't use cookies. Our booking pop-up and payment pages are run by our scheduling and payment providers, which may use their own cookies.
8. Websites and AI assistants we build for clients
PC-TECH also builds websites, AI receptionists and assistants for other businesses. When we do, we process their customers' information on that business's behalf and following its instructions. That business's own privacy policy applies, and questions should go to that business first.
9. Children
Our website and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If the changes are significant, we will tell clients by email.
